Tokyo Dental College Suidobashi Hospital to Implement Dental PACS, RIS & Report System

INFINITT Japan signed a contract with Suidobashi Hospital in June, 2011, for a specialized Dental PACS, RIS and Report System. They plan to begin implementation in November for a March 2012 opening.
Suidobashi Hospital, located on the former Tokyo Dental College Campus and serving the downtown Tokyo area, is one of three hospitals that now comprise Tokyo Dental College, along with Chiba Hospital and Ichikawa General Hospital. INFINITT Japan sees this project as an opportunity to raise awareness of the benefits of filmless PACS specialized for dental college hospitals, and hopes it will encourage wider adoption in Japan.
Suidobashi Hospital currently treats an average of 500 patients per day and coordinates treatment with dental clinics around the region. It has been designated as a hospital of highest excellence by the Dentists’ Clinical Training Facility and the Tokyo Metropolitan Clinical Education Board.
The hospital also has departments of ophthalmology and internal medicine, offering comprehensive and specialized medical care, and plans to upgrade the main hospital after enlarging the building in 2013.
